Intro to Stonemasonry

This afternoon, Jee-shaun will give a short presentation on some history, culture, and basic fundamentals of stonemasonry. He will show us what the design and drafting process looks like for starting a sculpture. He will also be sharing a few samples of different stone types, and common carving tools used in the studio. Attendees (virtual and IRL) will have the chance to ask questions at the end of the presentation. This event will be broadcast on IG Live.

BIO: Jee-shaun is a stonemason, designer, illustrator, and technician from Monterey Park, CA, currently based in Oakland.
