Origami Workshop with Jeanine Meyer

This Saturday, 1-2pm, we will we hosting a small origami workshop with local author Jeanine Meyer, who co-wrote “Origami with Explanations: Fun with Folding and Math” (alongside Takashi Mukoda).

Jeanine will be teaching us how to make a few simple origami forms, including a dove, a star-shaped box, a shirt (from a dollar bill), and a jumping frog (from a business card).

Beginners’ level (5 participants maximum).

Free event! Donations welcome (all funds will go towards supporting store operations).

We have paperback copies of Jeanine’s books, “Origami with Explanations” and “More Origami with Explanation,” for anyone who would like to purchase a copy on-site. Both titles are also listed in our web store, if you’d like to purchase online (if it’s not there right now, it will be very soon)!
