Intro to HeadBand Design Workshop // October 7th, Friday (4:30-6pm). Facilitated by Sew Fancy, a.k.a. Molly Jacobson. Beginner’s Level. “In this 90-minute workshop, future designers and junior fashionistas will learn how to design and create a fabric headband from; choosing their fabric, to how to read + follow simple pattern directions, to sewing + personalizing their own unique creation. Most of the workshop will focus on hand sewing but there will be a limited + supervised machine sewing using a portable sewing machine. Limit 5 students. Sewing supplies provided by instructor but students are encouraged to bring a snack for short mid-workshop snack break.” Suggested ages: 9-14. Any gender. Class fee: $35 per student.
